Affirmations, we have all heard of them and hopefully most of us use them. Affirmations are positive statements that we tell ourselves. I am beautiful, I am smart, I am funny, I am loveable and so forth and so on. So why do we often still fail when we say these affirmations? You may have been saying for a while now, I am rich, yet you check you bank account and you see it’s just not so. Why are these affirmations not working? Are you missing something?
Well I learned a bit about the missing piece here when I was listening to the Hay House World Summit. One of the speakers there was Noah St. John! Speaking an affirmation is easy, believing it, really believing it is a different story. When we speak an affirmation, our brains are sort of wired to process this information as true or false. It’s a filter built into our brains. So with this information, Noah St. John asked this question:
“If the Human mind automatically starts to search for answers to questions, why are we going around making statements that we don’t believe?
I mean if I say “I am rich” my brain knows I am not at this moment. The key to affirmations though is to say them with emotion over and over. To speak them with great emotion! Write them down over and over. Place them where we can see them! A reprogramming of the brain is what we are striving for. We are striving to feel it really feel it and in turn believe it. What we believe, according the the universal laws is what we draw towards us.
So what is different about this afformations thing that was cloned by Noah St. John? Our brains are wired to ask questions. Seriously think about the woman or man that has just been dumped. The first question is why, then comes the what did I do wrong. We ask ourselves questions all the time every single day and our brains automatically go to work to find the answers.
So an afformation is an affirmation put in the context of a question. Our brain then passes over that true or false filter and begins to work to seek the answers. Take my question in my title up there. Why am I a brilliant affiliate marketer. I asked myself a few other questions first to get to that title. I had listened to Noah St. John with the Hay House Summit. I wanted to share it with my pajama affiliates. I wanted to make it apply to affiliate marketing. So I had a series of these afformations before this post came to be.
How am I sharing this great new tool?
How am I making it apply to affiliate marketing?
How am I promoting affiliate products with this great new tool?
My answer to these questions was it would take a brilliant affiliate marketer to do all o f that. Hence the birth of my title. I have shared this great tool. I have three powerful affiliate products in this post! This post is on my pajama affiliate website. I truly am a brilliant affiliate marketer!
So next time you are stuck power up your affirmations by turning them into an afformations. Ask yourself empowering questions to get your brain really rolling. The results I think you will find are quite amazing!
By the way, if you missed the Hay House Summit, you can get it here. It’s life altering, I promise!
