How Much Money Do I Make Blogging

February 27, 2015 By: Robin Cockrell1 Comment

I wish I had a dollar for every time I got asked the question, “how much money can I make blogging”. If you have thought about blogging and wondered how much money you can make doing it, there really is no one answer because that is up to you. The amount of money you can make blogging depends on your consistency, commitment, if you know how to get traffic and so much more.

I can share with you a bit about how much money I make. I will take 2014 as an example. 2013 was not a good year for me. I had personal disasters and there was that google slap. I won’t lie, I stuggled in 2013. 2012 I made over 80,000 and 2013 probably only around 20,000.

So lets see where I am heading now. To the best of my knowledge below are some stats of my earnings from 2014 and I will get as detailed as possible as to where they came from.

I started a website on relationships for women October 2012 which was the end of my very good year. Most of my earnings in 2014 came from this site. Proof here that it does take about a year of consistent work, adding new content and optimizing your site to start seeing some nice results.

Earnings from Clickbank 2014 $11,417.07

 Evan Marc Katz 2014 $5576.00.

This affiliate center is now closed.  He completely redid his entire affiliate center and started a new more effecient one.  Short of showing you my tax forms or pages of my paypal account, you just have to take my word on this one.  He is a dating coach and I made a nice chunk of money from his affiliate program.

Earnings 2014 from Katarina Phang.

Katarina is also a dating coach and I had a few of her links in my blog and a banner on a couple of my posts.  In hindsight, I should have had more.

I put my website up for auction for numerous reasons that are just too much to go into here.  Basically I am taking a chance and following my first love which is making money blogging and a few other ways online and I have a great desire to teach this now.  So here I am.

Product sales on this site 2014 $5349.00

So if you are wondering how much money you can make blogging, this is just one example of what I have accomplished.  I made over $42,000 in 2014.  This was what I rebuilt after the Panda Penguin updates.  Some may not think it’s much, but considering I made this from scratch in a little over a year, I am pretty dang proud of it.  I can’t wait to see what I do with my new adventures in 2015!

Note: The above earnings do not include money I received from one on one coaching or the monthly membership fees for a Private forum I ran.  The forum was sold with the above mentioned website.  Combined the coaching and membership fees brought in around $2500 in 2014

Blogging does take work and I have a blueprint that if you follow it and just keep rinsing and repeating and work with the Masterminds in my group, you too can make this kind of money and much much more blogging.  It’s not a get rich quick scheme and it does take work and commitment.  You can find me here at pajama affiliates.  Sorry, but there is no hype in my teachings, just me!

I love that you are so honest Robin. Its what draws us together. We don’t claim to be billionaires at this, we just know how to make money from home and take care of ourselves… which is what I think the general public is looking for. Get rich quick is nice but rare!
