Welcome to the Targeting Course!
This is a brief introduction to this course.
Targeting is about being able to step into your readers shoes and understanding what they need and how they search it.
It’s about delivering this.
It would seem simple, but my theory on this is that there is so much stuff out there to distract us, that we don’t think for ourselves as much as we could.
We are too busy checking out how to get more pins, how to get more traffic, this shiny object, that shiny object, this new thing or that new thing.
We end up going through the motions without much thought as to if it will really work for us.
For example, I see people building lists when their niche doesn’t really need one just because they were told it was the thing to do.
Step One in Targeting is Doing Your Research, whether your are building and niche site or beginning a post.
Many just go to Jaaxy and get a keyword that has low competition and the highest search volume possible and stop there.
You need to take this farther.
In the next two videos we will explore taking your research farther and how Google renders results.
This information will make more sense as you go through this course and begin to see the big picture.

I have summed it up into a three step process and as you become more aware of this, you will get better at targeting a buyers market, though all stages of the process are needed.
