Is Money a Limited Resource?

June 21, 2013 By: Robin Cockrellcomment

Is money a limited resource.  While I know that it’s not, if I look around, it would appear that it is.  Money is one of the biggest worries that we as humans often share.  How many of us look at our stack of bills, then to the check book to discover “not enough”.  How many of us stay awake at night wondering where it’s going to come from?

We rack our brains for solutions yet we seem to stay stuck on broke!

What we often forget in our daily stresses over money is that what we put our focus on is what will continue to show up. It’s the law of attraction.  Like attracts like.

So if your focus is on not enough, well then you will continue to have not enough

I recently commented on a thread on a work at home forum to a woman who was in desperate need of fast cash.  She was searching for a fast solution.  The answers were so predictable.  Sell something you own.  Get a weekend gig.  Borrow from a friend or relative.  Take out a loan.  Short term solutions that just give a bit of relief.

If you are already a follower of mine, you know I have been there.  I have been the one putting something on Craig’s list just so I could eat for a few days.  I have been the one desperate and yes, I was feeling money was a limited resource.

I would also rack my brain for solutions.  It wasn’t until I let go of this limiting crap(limiting beliefs) that things began to turn around for me.  I was always looking for ways to attract more money.  When I tried to solve the problem of not enough with that mindset, I just kept getting deeper in it seemed.

Sure there are ways to get a bit of money, but usually those solutions are short lived and just get us in more financial trouble.

I know some who live off of their credit cards to make up for the lack at the end of the month.  I recently had a conversation with someone who was considering taking out a loan to pay some bills.  What happens when that loan is due or the credit card bills role around though and you still are stuck with limited money?  It’s not a solution.

The World is an Abundant Place

The first step for me was realizing money is not a limited resource.  The only thing limiting my receiving more of it was in reality, my beliefs around money.

When you have these set beliefs such as there is not enough, some are just luckier than me, I have to work hard or work two jobs or a better job to have more, the economy sucks, and so forth and so on, your creative thinking is just blocked.

If I believe that the answer is to just get a better job, then all other alternatives just don’t even enter my mind. I remain blocked to solutions because I am trying to control an outcome.

I am attached to this one way.

To get out of limited thinking about money, we have to examine these beliefs.  I have been told there were no shortcuts.  So of course since I believed that, I didn’t look for a shortcut.

Once I examined that belief, and let it go as false, I found many shortcuts.  I have generated hundreds of dollars in a matter of days on shortcuts in my online business alone.  Maybe I just added an rss feed or a back link somewhere.  Maybe I put up a video on you tube.

My own at home study course for affiliate marketing was created with just an idea and money came into my paypal before I even started it!   Pajama Affiliates!

What is your big idea that is blocked by your limiting beliefs?

money an unlimited resourceLimited Beliefs Block Your Abundance

These beliefs block your brain, I promise you that.  I once believed everything online to make money was a scam.  I stayed a prisoner to a job with that belief.  Now I earn a full time living working in legitimate ways with affiliate marketing.  If you want to dive deeper into discovering and unblocking your beliefs around money I suggest you start doing the work and exploring your beliefs that keep you stuck and block your creative side.

I stopped wondering is money a limited resource.

So if money is an unlimited resource, then can you just manifest it?  Yes, you can.  I read today on a facebook post that if you aren’t taking action, then you aren’t making money.  Well that on the surface would be true.  Of course one would think that action is required.  To just think that money can land on your doorstep some would say is unrealistic.  Money may not land on your doorstep, but it might, or at the least, it might be easier than you think.

If you are anything like me, taking action is very difficult to do unless I am feeling inspired.  To be inspired, I need to be in alignment and to get into alignment, I focus on what I want.  When I focus on what I want, without those limiting beliefs by the way, ideas just pop into my head, unobstructed.

When I let go of how it needs to show up, the ideas and opportunities started coming.  Some pretty amazing things started happening.  I had my first 10,000 dollar month just blogging.

There is more than enough money and it’s not a limited resource.  The only limit is the limits in your mind and your internal blocks around it.

So is money a limited resource?  There is not a God up there or Universe or whatever deciding who is worthy of it and who is not. It’s your own inner dialogue about your own worthiness that determines this.

There is no favoritism in the grand scheme of things.  Money is yours to draw forth to you and claim.  If you haven’t been getting the results you need doing what you are doing, then I suggest you change your thinking and beliefs around money and heal that broken screwed up relationship that you have with wealth and money.
