Selling on Amazon is better than playing the lottery and a much bigger high much more often. When you play the lottery, usually if you are like me, you get disappointed every time you check your numbers the next day. Oh I might get lucky and win a few bucks, but I doubt that I have even broke even the few times I do play.
So why does selling on Amazon sort of remind me of playing the lottery? Well I invest into my inventory wisely every week or so, and yes, I have to send it in to Amazon. Then I just wait. This last two days alone I have gotten 10 emails from Amazon telling me they have just shipped an item I sold. That’s like hitting the lottery 10 times.
So I guess selling on Amazon is like playing the lottery but with a sure chance at actually winning. Now I am not knocking those that play and I agree if you don’t play you can’t win. I guess I just wonder about those that play it regularly. What are your chances of actually hitting the jackpot? Are you looking for an easy way out? I think easy way outs are pretty rare.
Now I am not saying that selling on Amazon is easy. I mean it is in many ways and you get better and better at it the more you do it. What I am saying is that if you put in a little work with it a few hours a week, you can be guaranteed a few hundred and yes thousands of dollars in your bank account per month.
I often get behind people in line that are spending a lot of money on lottery tickets and scratch off cards. I think, wow, I would like to take that money they are spending and put it back into my Amazon inventory and invest in something that is going to give me a sure return. With Amazon, I always get a good return.
